Children's books imprint Puffin Books has announced a series of new acquisitions.

Following on from the success of 'The Magical Worlds of Harry Potter' and 'The Magical Worlds of The Lord of the Rings', both of which sold over 400,000 copies, Puffin has acquired the UK and Commonwealth rights to 'The Magical Worlds of Phillip Pullman'.

The publisher has also acquired a new picture book version of Hans Christian Andersen's 'The Princess and the Pea' by Lauren Child and photographer Polly Borland. The book is set for ...
