VA replica of the personal library of Franz Kafka, left, one of the most influential writers of the 20th century, was officially presented yesterday to a Czech literary society set up to safeguard the writer's legacy in his native Prague. The collection, donated by the German car maker Porsche, consists of some 1,000 books, magazines, almanacs and anthologies owned by Kafka before his death in 1924.
