Sunday, May 12, 2002 -- PRAGUE, Czech Republic - A replica of the personal library of Franz Kafka, one of the most influential writers of the 20th century, was presented in a ceremony last week to a literary society in the writer's native Prague.

Donated by the German carmaker Porsche, the collection consists of some 1,000 books, magazines, almanacs and anthologies which replicate the materials Kafka owned before his death in 1924. His yahrzeit is today, ...
