There may not be many second acts in American lives, but there's always a last act in the movies - especially when it comes to made- for-TV biopics.
F. Scott Fitzgerald gets the tragic, end-of-the-line treatment in "Last Call." Oscar winner Jeremy Irons does a marvelous job of projecting Fitzgerald's ingratiating dependency, but the story - like the last novel he was working on - ends abruptly and seemingly unfinished with his death.
