A Classic Obsession

NEW YORK -- Next Thursday, Calvin Klein will turn his back on the narcissistic sexuality of the mid-Eighties and embrace a more classic sensuality with the first airing of his new, updated Obsession and Obsession for Men TV commercials.

There are four 30-second black-and-white spots, each of which was directed by David Lynch. Different couples -- including some actors from Lynch's "Twin Peaks" -- appear in each one.

They gaze dreamily, they touch and they kiss while a narrator reads a passage from either F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ernest Hemingway, D.H. ...
