LAST week actress Demelza Randall attended the London premiere of a new movie in which she takes a starring role.

Tonight, it is back to theatrical reality at Birkenhead's Pacific Road theatre for a one-off performance of a new play.

She is excited about both projects.

This Filthy Earth - an adaptation of Emile Zola's novel The Earth - was premiered at Soho's Curzon Cinema with Demelza among the star turns.

The film, directed by documentary film-maker Andrew Kotting, stars the actress as the determined farm girl trying to keep the farm out ...
