A story of forbidden desire, guilt, manipulation and murder set to music by jazz legend Harry Connick Jr. will have its Pittsburgh debut tonight by Point Park University's Conservatory Theatre Company.
Connick created the music and lyrics for "Thou Shalt Not" based on Emile Zola's novel "Therese Raquin."
The musical had its Broadway debut in 2001.
Directing the Conservatory Theatre production is Point Park alumnus Tome Cousin, who directed the first regional production of the musical "Contact" with the Conservatory Theatre Company in spring of 2006.
