PARIS The Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation quashed the judgment of the Seine Assizes which condemned M. Emile Zola for the publication of the famous letter ''J'accuse ...'' in the Aurore. The judgment points out that the law doesn't distinguish between civil, administrative or military tribunals. In a word, the Minister of War had no authority to bring an action against M. Zola, and the Public Prosecutor was without quality to bring such a prose-cution before the Assizes.
