I'm thinking of writing a slightly less adoring one that begins, "How do I get thee to the doctor for a checkup? Let me count the ways..."
September is National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, a fact that my husband is determined to ignore.
It's been six years (six!) since he has had a complete physical exam. Six. Years.
I am as faithful as they come about making and keeping regularly scheduled checkups.
