A scheme to restore a run-down hotel that was once home to a celebrated poet could become an example for harbour regeneration across Devon.
The Torquay Harbour Townscape Heritage Initiative has already restored a former residence of Victorian writer Elizabeth Barrett Browning.
Two other properties have also undergone extensive restoration as part of the scheme.
Now Torbay Council is looking to work with more harbourside property owners to transform the area into a prosperous and thriving location.
