AS Nick and Molly Rijke planned their register office wedding, they thought they had made the perfect choice of reading - Elizabeth Barrett Browning's sonnet How Do I Love Thee?, recently voted one of Britain's favourite love poems.
But when the couple went to finalise arrangements with the registrar days before the ceremony, they were told the poem could not be used because of its references to God, Grace and life after death.
