THEATREWORKS founder and artistic director Robert Kelley and managing director Randy Adams have unveiled the 2004-2005 season, and as usual, it's an intriguing mix of old and new, of comedy, drama and music.
The season begins with "Enchanted April," a co-production with the Pasadena Playhouse.
Based on the novel by Elizabeth von Arnim and adapted by Matthew Barber, the play is about four Englishwomen who escape their dreary lives to taste some sun and sizzle in Italy. "Enchanted April" is directed by Michael Wilson, who helmed the show in its Broadway run last year. The show opens in June. ...
