TARZANA - The San Fernando Valley community of Tarzana, named after Edgar Rice Burroughs' ``Tarzan,'' will spring to life with its first Safari Night along Ventura Boulevard on Friday.
The stretch of Ventura between Reseda Boulevard and Crebs Avenue will be turned into a strollers' mecca from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., organizers said.
The fun will include street entertainment, strolling musicians, mimes, clowns, face-painting and caricature artists.
Cafes will move tables and chairs outside for al fresco dining, and shops will remain open.
