For more than 70 years, "King Kong" has been Exhibit A for Hollywood's obsession with our simian genetic siblings, but there is a long list of movies featuring apes and monkeys and lemurs. Oh, my!
Some highlights:
"Tarzan of the Apes" -- From the 1918 silent original and through countless remakes, Edgar Rice Burroughs' story of the ape man has proven timeless and utterly irresistible to Hollywood.
