LONDON A prediction that a world-wide calamity will occur sometime between 1925 and 1928 because of the materialism of humanity was made by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in an interview in the ''Morning Post''. ''In order to arouse the world to a sense of its responsibility a great catastrophe, shattering in its nature is approaching,'' he said. Many messages warning of the coming disaster have been received by Lady Doyle, he averred, and added that she is a much better medium than himself.
