Like many of you, I spent the last week rationing out the final installment from J.K. Rowling, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows." It took her 10 years to write a seven-novel epic, the same amount of time the Greeks took to conquer Troy. Going along for the ride, we have glimpsed what it must have been like for the readers of Charles Dickens or Fyodor Dostoevsky, who had to wait for each new installment to appear like magic.
Perhaps the next generation of readers will steam through all the Harry Potter ...
