Russian novelist Fyodor Dostoevsky contributed more than a title to the new NBC series "Crime & Punishment," premiering March 3. His 19th century masterpiece about the twisted thoughts of a murderer inspired television producer Dick Wolf to conceive a modern drama that delves into the minds of criminals and cops.
