Stressed-out rabbits and disappearing cats aren't the only strange things swirling around in Wonderland. Dark rumors about the author of "Alice in Wonderland" have been dancing alongside his fanciful creations for more than half a century.
Lewis Carroll is one of the most beloved children's authors of all time, thanks to "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" (1865) and "Through the Looking-Glass," and his works are being celebrated in Colorado Springs this month with plays, school activities and book groups as part of the All Pikes Peak Reads program.
