EARLY editions of children's classics, including a first edition Lewis Carroll, have gone on sale.Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh and The Wizard of Oz series feature in the collection, which is on display as part of a Christmas exhibition at The Gallery, in Ripon, North Yorkshire.The venue, which opened this year in Kirkgate, was formerly Hornsey's bookshop and, as well as running the gallery, the Hornsey family continues in the book trade.Books on display alongside works of art include a deluxe edition of Tolkein and a first edition, from 1886, of the manuscript facsimile of Alice's Adventures ...
