Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, one of the most famous books ever
written, was created by Lewis Carroll. His real name was Charles Lutwidge
Dodgson, and he was born in Daresbury, England. He graduated from
Oxford University and became a mathematics teacher and writer there.
He lived in Oxford the rest of his life. He never married, but he
loved children and enjoyed story-telling.
