Monday's Book Talk featuring Charlotte Bronte's classic "Jane Eyre" drew a larger-than-usual group that included several new faces. Everyone who attended seemed delighted to have a forum in which to talk about one of their favorite books. One after another, all around the circle, readers expressed the same sentiment: They just don't write 'em like this anymore.
