ONE of Charlotte Bronte's earliest manuscripts has earned its place in an online museum after securing almost a thousand votes in a television competition.
BBC2's People's Museum programme invited viewers to vote on their favourite museum artefacts from across the UK, which will now be placed in a virtual museum on the BBC's history website.
Charlotte Bronte's delicate book, which has rarely been seen in public, will now be temporarily displayed at the Bronte Parsonage Museum in Haworth.
