WALNUT CREEK, Calif., May 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Maxis, (Nasdaq: MXIS) the Walnut Creek-based creator of the acclaimed "Sim" line of entertainment software, is donating over $24,000 to three schools in Contra Costa County. Valley View Elementary School, Calvin Simmons Junior High School, and Bret Harte Junior High School have been chosen from over twenty-five local schools and community organization to receive funding and computer software from Maxis.
