SANTA CLARA, Calif. _ Thirteen-year-old Sean Sarsfield, who appears to have triumphed over childhood cancer, has this advice for kids still battling the disease.

``You keep on fighting, you can never really give up,'' said Sarsfield, a San Jose youngster who was one of about 600 ``Courageous Kids'' treated to a day at the Great America theme park on Sunday.

The Bret Harte Middle School seventh-grader and his family joined about 3,000 moms, dads and siblings enjoying a day of balloons, music, rides and a picnic lunch, in what has become an annual Mother's Day event.
