May 25--SACRAMENTO -- Bret Harte High senior Kyle Inks and St. Mary's High senior Joshua Sandler kept raising the bar Thursday afternoon at the Sac-Joaquin Section Masters Meet at Hughes Stadium.
The pole vaulters' next stop will be a return trip to Hughes for the California Interscholastic Federation state meet on June 1 and 2.
Six field events held finals on Thursday, and the other events were trials. The top nine in trials advance to the finals at 3 p.m. today at Hughes.
