Aug. 25--When the prep football season kicks off on Friday, Sept. 8, six new head coaches will take charge of their respective programs.

And all of them face different challenges in their new roles.

Of the new head coaches -- Lincoln's Jim Rubiales, Bear Creek's Barbaro Perez, Chavez's Eric Duncan, McNair's Mitch Rogers, Bret Harte's Scott Edwards and Galt's Warren Schroeder -- none will have higher expectations upon him than Rubiales, who has been with the Trojans' program for the past three decades.
