    Parents, talk to your children. Talk to them about school. What are they learning? What's hard? What's fun? Talk to them about their friends. Talk to them about their feelings. Tell them what you value. Tell them what you expect. Turn off the TV so you can hear each other. Disconnect the Nintendo. Talk. Listen.
