Feb. 22--The second-seeded Ripon girls basketball team cruised into the second round of the Sac-Joaquin Section Division IV playoffs with a 71-19 win over 15th-seeded San Juan on Tuesday night. Rachel Hamilton scored 29 points against an overmatched San Juan squad. Hamilton was 5 of 9 from 3-point range. Jessica Graham had a stellar all-around effort for Ripon (24-2) with 14 points, 10 rebounds and six assists.
