Jan. 31--On Friday, Bret Harte High School advertised a position for head football coach on edjoin.org with the deadline for applications on March 18.

Bullfrogs football coach Gordon Sadler Sr. said he hasn't stepped down, but he's helping the school find a replacement.

Sadler, 67, replaced his son, Gordon Sadler Jr., with intentions of coaching for a year or two. Last season, he guided the Bullfrogs to a 1-9 record with their lone win coming over Soledad on Sept. 16.
