Usually we only hear from the sidelines about the terrible issues, and the awful situations, in our school district, and of course we should constantly be on the lookout to improve and fix things \.
But having gone through Long Beach public schools (Bret Harte, Lindberg and Jordan), I am thrilled to see how much better things are at our public schools today than when I went there.
What I see gives me great admiration for the efforts of the teachers, administrators and general staff, as I have found them to be some of the finest, hardest-working and most genuinely caring people ...
