I just read the January editorial (p. 7). Wasn't it author Aldous Huxley who remonstrated that information is not knowledge? I'm afraid all of these encapsulated lists, bulleted wads, and electronic bytes are simply concentrated fact cards. We can use them to support whatever point of view we wish, if indeed we have one.
Naturally, I'll check out the Strategic Development Council. I'm just as guilty as anyone else in looking for quick information. But with concrete, perhaps more than any other construction-driven technology, we must remember there are no absolutes. The facts ...
