For some 20 years, the Onondaga Hillplayers have focused on one production a year. With Jack and Doris Skillman as co-producers, the show is a festive event, performed in dinner theater and bringing together experienced local actors.

Among many other entertaining evenings, I especially remember a haunting "Laura" and a sublimely witty "Blithe Spirit."

The Hillplayers' current production is far from the urbane style of "Blithe Spirit." From start to finish it appeals to one's sense of humor, but the comedy is often slapstick, ...
