CURLING UP with a good Agatha Christie mystery is a fine way to spend a crisp fall evening.

Castro Valley's Chanticleers Theatre is presenting Christie's venerable "Ten Little Indians" in its cozy parkside playhouse. Director Svetlana Couture has mounted a straightforward production that allows the audience to concentrate on figuring out whodunnit -- even if you know the story by heart.
