The grandson of the world famous Torquay-born author says Agatha Christie Week is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the life and works of someone who 'really loved Torquay'.

Mathew Prichard says the celebration is a perfect way for people to have pride in the town.

Murder and mystery will be the focus next month as residents and visitors are invited to celebrate the life and works of the 'Queen of Crime' during Agatha Christie Week, which runs nationwide from September 9 to 16.
