Business leaders think it's a 'crime' that Torbay's links with Agatha Christie aren't better known around the world.
In an effort to boost the Bay's connections with the bestselling novelist, members of Torbay Hospitality Association met up with her grandson, Mathew Prichard, who runs Agatha Christie Ltd.
They were discussing a variety of ventures aimed at promoting Dame Agatha, who was born in Torquay and later had a home on the River Dart, called Greenway.
Mr Prichard was met at Newton Abbot station by a 1932 Rolls- Royce, loaned for the day by Livermead House Hotel.
