They say the female is more deadly than the male, and that could be true judging by the all-female interest in Creating Crime on Paper, the crime writing event staged by Adult and Community Learning in Paignton as part of the Agatha Christie Festival.
Seven women signed up for South Devon College's two-evening fest of plotting and creating dastardly deeds at the Bishop's Place Centre.
