DAYTON -- Things go thud in the night and during the daytime in "Something's Afoot," which opened last weekend at Sinclair Community College.

Those things are the characters in a mildly entertaining musical spoof of the Agatha Christie genre by James McDonald, Robert Gerlach and David Vos.

It's how they meet their demise, usually abetted by a clever bit of theater technology, that provokes the fun in a production directed by Nelson Sheeley with musical direction by John Faas and choreography by Wendy Ferrero.
