Agatha Christie exhibition opens, features original Orient Express carriage

Agatha Christie had a passion for adventure, working on archaeological digs in the desert and experiencing first hand the romance of the Orient Express, the curator of a new exhibition about the author's life said Wednesday.

The exhibition _ "Agatha Christie and Archaeology: Mystery in Mesopotamia" _ put to rest the belief held by many readers that Christie was like her fictional character, the fussy English spinster Miss Marple, who spent a lot of time pottering around in the garden.
