This was really a fascinating book. I love mysteries and this is one of the best crafted ones I've ever read. Sure it's old fashioned and melodramatic, but it held my interest all the way to the satisfying ending. I look forward to reading more of her mysteries. Her characters are well drawn. I like the way she portrays the characters emotions and the horror of murder and the aftermath. The detective that relates the story is funny, clever with his ambition and rivalry and insight. Green is better than Agatha Christie! Is that heresy?--Submitted by Anonymous
