Christmas tunes:
“Ave Maria” adapted to a Franz Schubert composition.

Some great tunes posted. I really like this Bert Jansch version of

I only found out last week that it's from a poem by Christina Rosetti:

Superb. It has a nice contrasting mournfulness about it.
I'm not really bothered with Christmas, but last year somebody posted this song from Frank Sinatra. So you can forget your long haired or shaven haired oiks and listen to the diction, phrasing and projection of a REAL singer, rather than a grotesque publicity created alternative. I would add that I'm not a particular fan of Frank Sinatra but I can tell the difference between talent and trash.

I couldn't find my favorite version but this one is good too:

"I should only believe in a God that would know how to dance. And when I saw my devil, I found him serious, thorough, profound, solemn: he was the spirit of gravity- through him all things fall. Not by wrath, but by laughter, do we slay. Come, let us slay the spirit of gravity!" - Nietzsche

It played in the credits of a movie I liked, Mixed Nuts with Steve Martin and Adam Sandler.
I don't care if the glass is half full or half empty, I'm just glad to have a glass.
