A fair old spread of genres. Not sure I've read any campus novels - though I may have and not known it. Same with Bildungsroman. Is that a medical genre - post colon-ial?

I think "campus novels" are simply novels that are set on a school campus.
Is that a US version of our public school novels like Tom Brown's schooldays or Just William, or even later Harry P?
