oh, finally someone I know! Congratualtions!

I am jealous of the cake.
One has to laugh before being happy, because otherwise one risks to die before having laughed.

Have a wonderful birthday (and year), Pip!

    An interview with OrphanPip:

*Why are we doing this interview thing?*
I want desperately to belong and everyone else seems to do it.

*Are you sure you want to do this?*
Ya, sure, is there a reason I shouldn't...

    *Who killed Roger Rabbit?*
I hadn't heard he'd died, has anybody told Jessica Rabbit?

*Whose footprints would you find in the fridge?*
Not mine at least, I'm afraid I don't fit.

    *So, how old are you?*
By the time this is posted, 23, ugh.

*If you had a personal theme song what would it be?*
"I think We're Alone Now" by Tiffany, because that's the most obnoxious 80s song I could think of at the moment.

*Are you male or female? *
    Male... for now at least.

*What makes you keep coming back?*
    Addictive personality.

*Are you happy with the way things are here?*
    Quite.

Should JBI get an + beside his name?
No, unless he wants to do something to earn it.

    *Which countries have you visited?*
The USA is the only country I've been to besides Canada.

    *Which languages do you speak?*
    French and English.

*How do you like your home town?*
    I like it well enough.

*If you could live somewhere different, where would it be and why?*
I've never really wanted to live anywhere different permanently, because all my family is in Montreal. I would consider living short-term in Paris, for the experience.

    *Do you have any pets?*
Yes, I have an oriental shorthair named Casey, a rabbit named Hazel, and a budgie named Jamie. My other cat recently had to be put down because of chronic kidney disease.

    *What makes you happy?*
Food, oh god I love it so much.

*What is mankind's biggest achievement, and its greatest downfall?*
Biggest achievement vaccines, downfall probably the nuclear bomb.

*Do you feel comfortable in your walk with God/atheism? *
Yep, I'm quite self assured of my atheism.

*Which actor should play you in a movie based on your life?*
    John Goodman, why not?

    Who is your favourite Beatle?
George, though Paul is a close second.

*Given the option, what animal would you choose to be?*
Bonobo chimpanzee, they have way more sex than I do.

*What makes you feel great about yourself?*
Hard question to answer, getting over hard times in the past.

*How did you meet your significant other?*
Don't have any at the moment, interested parties feel free to contact me by pm .

    *Who inspires you most?*
    I'm fairly uninspired.

*What are you naturally good at? (Skills, abilities, gifts etc.)*
    School, sciency stuff.

*What is the one thing you must do before you die?*
Hmm, get over to Europe at least once. I suppose I should start saving for it.

*If you had to teach something, what would you teach?*
    Biology and chemistry, duh.

*What would you regret not fully doing, being or having in your life?*
Probably finding someone special, it would be sad to die alone.

*What method do you cherish above all others, as means to improving your life?*
    Determination and hard work.

*What one thing would you NEED to have on a deserted island if you didn't have to worry over food and water? *
    A television with satellite.

*If you were a king/queen for a day, what would you do?*
    Create a socialist paradise .

*What song is in your head at the moment?*
James' Brown's "A Man's World", because it was playing on TV.

*Which book are you reading at the moment?*
Waiting for the Barbarians by J.M. Coetzee.

    *What is your favourite quote?*
"I have no doubt that in reality the future will be vastly more surprising than anything I can imagine. Now my own suspicion is that the Universe is not only queerer than we suppose, but queerer than we can suppose." - J.B.S. Haldane.

    *Favorite avatar on the Forum?*
My own of course, Bowie is my idol.

    *Favorite threads?*
Rate a Song thread, or w/e it's called.

    What's your favorite sandwich?
    Pastrami on rye.

*What time of day do you most often find yourself on the LitNet*?
All times of the day from work, or late at night.

*What are you wearing at the moment?*
Not much, I'm in bed and it's 1 am.

    *Favorite poem?*
    "Dover Beach" by Matthew Arnold.

*First novel you remember reading on your own?*
Treasure Island in French around 8.

*What era do you find most of the books you read are from?*
Early 20th century and late 19th.

    *Favorite TV shows?*
I'm a Degrassi junky, which is very very sad. For those who don't know, Degrassi is a soap opera based in a high school and the target audience is 13 year old girls. I've been watching since I was 12.

*Which Forum members would you like to meet in person if you could*?
Anyone, I'm always up for meeting new people.

*Last words you said out loud?*
    "Goodnight."

    *Last person you hugged/kissed?*
Jesus, I'm quite the emotionally stunted WASP, I can't even remember probably someone I dated for a short period 8 months ago. I never hug or kiss my family, it just isn't done.

*What do you do (for a living) to be able to keep your LitNet addiction going? And are you happy with your chosen profession?*
I work as a lab assistant in a veterinary hospital, and no I'm not crazy over the job, but it's better than a lot of alternatives I could be working in. I also take classes part-time, but I'm thinking more and more that I'll go for teaching certification. I'm very indecisive, I still feel way too young to teach high school students.

*What question would you like to ask yourself?*
Uh, what are you doing with your life?

*What would you like to be if you could change your profession?*
I'd like to teach one day, but I need to save up money first too. I kinda answered this before .

*Which one of the seven dwarves are you and why?*
    Dopey.

*What is your most outstanding feature?*
Oh my, well it wouldn't be decent to say, . Haha, idk I get complemented on my eyes a lot.

*If you could change one thing about the way you look, what would that be?*
I could do to lose a few pounds.

*Which book do you wish you had written?*
Any best seller, I'd love to be rich.

*What should you be doing at the moment instead of answering these questions?*
    Sleeping, but I'm watching TMZ.

    *Describe your ideal day, please.*
    One where nothing awful happens.

    *Favorite movie?*
    Labyrinth!

    *Last movie you watched?
I saw the recent Joan Rivers documentary, just to make sure I was still gay.

    *Favorite painting?*
Liberty Leading the People, by Delacroix.

    *Wonderful Superman or depressing Batman?*
Batman, Superman is so boring, plus his villains suck. It would be nice to know if the rumours about him and Robin are true or not.

What was the best thing that happened to you during this year?
Mostly an uneventful year... Hmm, I got my driver's license, rather late in life. That's something, right?

*If you could send one thing to the Room 101, one would that be?*
I'm afraid of heights, but it's hard to send that to a room.

*Are you mostly happy with life or are you still in pursuit?*
Still in pursuit, and I imagine I always will be.

*One final word of wisdom for LitNet users?*
    Always use protection.

*What question would you like to ask to the person to be interview after you?
    Bowie, yay or nay?

Thank you, I think it has the perfect mixture of pathetic sadness and exuberant flamboyance.

Thanks, one day the revolution will come. And the reflection of that cake on the platter has me tripping.

I think I better leave that unanswered, unless I want the FBI at my door. If I were 6 years younger...

You say that like it's abnormal to find lipstick on a 16 year old boy, we seem to hang out in different kinds of neighbourhoods.

Edit: And then after all that editing, I accidentally double post, gahr.

Yes, sing... of course. I think I'd rather wait 2 years until I can make lewd remarks while only seeming marginally creepy.
