    Smile Poem for Jerry

    He called himself Jay Bloo
    that is how he left
    me feeling
    my stomach churning
each time I went near him
    when it was over
    I stood up
    Flushed
    Blue
    I watched my life
    go down the gurgler
    then I walked out
    and never looked back

Finally I get a dedication and its a crapper.

    For those who believe,
    no explanation is necessary.
    For those who do not,
    none will suffice.

it's about time someone writes a poem in honor of Jerry. And what a throne this is!

"But do you really, seriously, Major Scobie," Dr. Sykes asked, "believe in hell?"
    "Oh, yes, I do."
    "In flames and torment?"
"Perhaps not quite that. They tell us it may be a permanent sense of loss."
"That sort of hell wouldn't worry me," Fellowes said.
"Perhaps you've never lost anything of importance," Scobie said.

I do so love to quote ozymandias as one of the few that stuck in my head, I feel quite dizzy with loftiness. I can do an odour of chrysanthemums also at a push. Bloke walks down a railwaytrack. train goes past. Industrialisation on one side nature on the other. juxtaposition. Oh how the dinner party guests swoon

    no explanation is necessary.
    For those who do not,
    none will suffice.
