What a well balanced first-half! Spain's showing promise finally.

What did you think ofl the penaly debate? I think the refree should have given at least a free-kick.

On a different note, I am so glad BBC is broadcasting this game. The ITV presenters are killing me with their pointless chatter. :-/

    Saturday:

    Uruguay vs Germany

(Please do not bet till Friday).

What a game! Germany should have been in the final but c'est la via...

Good place for me to leave this game as well since I have no teams to support anymore.

I had predicted Spain to win the Cup before the start but they have not shown much presence so far, till it is too late. As it is I don't think Spain deserves to win it and I don't want NL to win it for some reason.

Maybe I should talk to someone to analyse my feelings!

Wow, silly me - I said I was going to follow the octopus then didn't.

    Amazing stuff. Go Holland!
Go to work, get married, have some kids, pay your taxes, pay your bills, watch your tv, follow fashion, act normal, obey the law and repeat after me: "I am free."

Now I have no team to root in the final either. I don't like either of the teams. Oh well. Spain deserved that game, but it was not what I would call exciting.

I'm pleased to say that a month ago I put money on both Holland and Spain to win.

    Nice!

Now just make sure you even the odds up to ensure you win the same either way.

Wow, that was a boring game...
I started out rooting for Germany, because I reeeeally wanted them to win, but somewhere in the middle of the game I caught myself rooting for Spain...so I just let it be. They looked like they wanted it more than Germany.

So now it's Holland for me...although I can't put any muntstukke on them any more
