I exercise in the evening and it's only 8:30 am here. I have plans to do cardio and some weights later in the evening.

I had steaks on the grill, baked potato with sour cream, and three really good British dark beers... does that count?

I'll have a salad tomorrow... honest.

Today I spent most of my time rushing back and forth to the plumbing and generally feeling dreadful. I've had plenty of exercise, thanks.

    All the best, Meg!

That's easily the best idea I have read in this thread so far.

Thanks! I never should have started again. I had quit for over two years, and I'll admit it is much harder this time. All too needed, though. I've more than enough issues without smoking to add to them

You are, I can say without fear of contradiction, a superstar. Giving up smoking was the most difficult thing I have ever had to do, since I was on 40 - 60 a day. Ten years down the line, food tastes ten times better, the cough is totally gone, I don't get out of breath doing simple things like winding my watch and I feel wonderfully self-righteous. Stick with it, because I'm prepared to wager that there are dozens if not hundreds of ex-smokers rooting for you. Stick with it, we're proud of you. And take each day at a time!
