Shame about England's goal but Germany is so obviously the better team. I am surprised they are not up by 4 goalds by now.

    What a tragedy !!!
Am so sad for England.. !!!

Hopefully Germany will be kicked out by Argentina ...

The only one who is happy in here is Scher.. by betting 100 on Germany - Its like he knew it

    I hate Rooney .. i hate the referee !!!

Why don't they have more referees? It seems impossible for one to cover the entire field. At a minimum they should have one for each haf of the field. Anyway it was a pity on that bad call, but I think the game would have turned out the same.

England were atrocious! Glad they are out. Wish i'd betted more than 10 on Germany.

I'm not surprised, but it would've been great to see them win, and I'd hate to have bet against them if they had won. I think England started their best (uninjured) defenders, and that says it all. (Well, also, what happened to Rooney?) Germany has some really skillful and athletic players.

Germany really did have an outstanding passing game and they were agreesive on on offense. But I think their defense might hold them back from winning it all. They seemed afraid to get physical and they seem to lack muscle back there. Very good show by the Germans!

I just feel so sad for Gerrard, he played so good.
God !!! Its just this Klose and Muller are so fast in reaching the goal .

Arrrggggghhhhh - the rollercoater that is the England fan's curse has come to pass again.

Well played Germany - they deserved to win. Kilted's comment ages ago about Rooney being the invisible man has been true all through the competition.

I just can't understand why FIFA hasn't got the technology like video referees that they have in Rugby League and goalline technology.

I don't think it would have changed the outcome had England gone 2-2 on that performance. Germany were much more consistent. Anyway - it's a kind of relief. I can just enjoy the competition now.

    The only question is:

What do I do with the flags blowing on the back of my bicycle. I know - I'll keep them on there - there's always the next time...

Tennis games have a good technology with the eagle's eye,, I really wonder too why not using it.. it makes difference ..
Maybe knowing that its 2-2 .. would give a push for the players .. !! MAYBE

    Very upset.

Got my brain money on Brazil, Spain, Germany and Argentina but my heart is, was, with England of course.

    Capello must go.

    Technology must be employed.

Putting all my remaining credits on the Argentinian win.

Chin up Neely old chap. I can see you're upset by the truncated sentences that lack your usual florish - much like Rooneys game. At least we can just enjoy the cup without the heartache.

They need it. We brought it up after the French match back in november and FIFA (AKA Blatter) said no way. Football doesnt need it. Clearly from watching the games over the last few weeks its safe to say they do...

Back in the 2006 World Cup, England had an exciting young striker - I can't remember his name - and I thought for sure he would be here in 2010. I think he was only 18 years old. What ever happened to him? Why didn't he make the club?
