I have no idea how these matches will go as this tournament has already seen enough surprises.

As much as I wished England to go through, now I am thinking that they do not actually deserve to.

Slovenia coach Matjaz Kek described qualification for South Africa as "a fairytale ending from a Hollywood movie," and a point on Wednesday would take the smallest country at the World Cup through to the last 16. In contrast, England's campaign has the feel of a second-rate black comedy, despite the presence of a supposedly A-list cast.

I know who should win! Go India! Go!
    Oh wait...they haven't qualified...AGAIN!

Actually I don't care... I haven't been very interested in football anyways. But I want an underdog team to win. Maybe Korea Republic. After all, they are the only Asian team to qualify for knockouts. But I guess they have the same chances of winning as my going non veg... or to put it in another terms....all of you turning coprophagous.

If they really deserved it, they would surely have at least some points to show for it.

Dont agree with not playing lennon - to beat slovenia you use width and get behind the full backs this midfield want to shrink in and play central this is not a good idea
There once was a scotsman named Drew
Who put too much wine in his stew
    He felt a bit drunk
    And fell off his bunk
And landed smack into his shoe

I've been checking on the USA game off and on. Any updates on how our group is shaking out? I know to advance we needed England to win or draw and for us to win...

Now you are just trying to wind me up and I'm not going to fall for that, I'm too old to do so.

Last 16. The only thing is that the US managed to win the group (scored in the last 90+2, left it late) which means that England finished second and get the roughest ride. This will probably mean Germany (should they win tonight, get on) then Argentina, instead of probably Serbia then Uruguay. Never mine, at least we are through and played, much, much better.

"But do you really, seriously, Major Scobie," Dr. Sykes asked, "believe in hell?"
    "Oh, yes, I do."
    "In flames and torment?"
"Perhaps not quite that. They tell us it may be a permanent sense of loss."
"That sort of hell wouldn't worry me," Fellowes said.
"Perhaps you've never lost anything of importance," Scobie said.

Defoe was the man for England today and Terry also defended well or it would have been a draw imagine that….

Well! Congratulations to both USA and England they are through.
