Good; in that case, will you change your avy back to the blue one with the long black hair? I like that one best. It's more 'hopeful'.

Happy Birthday, Janine (a bit late, but also the second message). I don't know if you'll like this, your love for a certain other Englishman is well documented, but I thought you might enjoy this, too!

May this year be a blessed one for you, Janine, filled with good friendships and many, many Brooke-filled days!

Wow, Tom Jones! Janine will surely love it, qimi. She has a thing for Brit chaps. It must be their accent

Thank you qimisung, my good friend....neat photo...I like it! Looks saucy.

Is that an actor who played Tom Jones? I don't recognise him; but if so, I do like him because of his accent; you are right there, Max! haha.. I like other accents, too, so if you have one I will automatically think you are exotic! I especially love Scottish accents, but British is pretty cool too; if it's not that high class British that sounds very snobbish. No offense Brits. I prefer more down to earth British accents and ofcourse I am crazy over Kenneth Branagh's voice and mixed accent (he was really born in Ireland). He does great narration with a lot of feeling in his voice.

Thank you, Max. And yes, Janine, I got it for your because you are a saucy girl! The actor playing Tom Jones is Albert Finney, quite a handsome guy in his youth. Not an uppperclass guy, I don't think, very much of the people.

Over the years, and due to much exposure to films and TV episodes, I have tried to develop an exquisite melange of talking styles There are words I say in Brit, words I say in Irish, words I say in Southern US, words I say in Northern US and so on. Of course I need the personal real exposure to perfect the mixture I have. Now, come to think of it, I have to be rather crazy to talk in a mixture of accents

Ah, Albert Finney, quite an awesome actor!
I recall to have seen him portraying Winston Churchill in The Gathering Storm (2002). Great Film and performances.

Oh my gosh, that is a young Albert Finney?.....I thought he looked familar, but would not have guessed it was him. He was quite handsome when he was young. No, not the upper class accent I find a bit irritating, especially when I am am trying to listen to an audiobook narrations. Finney does seem more down to earth. I like him in "Amazing Grace"...that was a good movie.

I don't know if I saw that film...guess not. I should find it. Sounds good and I love historical movies. Finney has been in loads of movies. I am always seeing him crop up somewhere. He is a fine actor indeed.

Yeah, that's a really good movie. You should see it. I would like to watch it again. I think my library owns it. I need to take a trip to my library soon and get some more recent movies they got in not long ago. I looked on their site adn they have some good ones.

    Something like that

Yes, I think I will track that one down. I will check library to see if they have it; if not they can order it from me from another library in the county. I haven't requested any for sometime so I am sure they will be happy to do that. It's a good deal - free movie rental!

I just watched another 10 part miniseries from HBO..."Band of Brothers"...it was extraordinary...not for the weak hearted though. As they say, 'war is hell'. Did you see it by any chance? It was very well done. The director of "The Gathering Storm" directed some of the episodes...interesting.

I saw it twice, but I don't own it. That's a real mistake. Being such a masterpiece, I should find me a way to own it for once and make it a part of my collection
