In this case, I'm pleased to say that I think The Cure are a terrific, if limited, idea and when they first appeared (when I was about nineteen) I really liked Three Imaginary Boys, and then I really disliked The Forest, and after that Robert and I have had a kinduv on-off thing which we've come to understand how to live with. 8/10
Really??? Do you really mean that?

Finally, I can have a decent night's sleep...

The thank-you letter is in the post, by the way.

Similar era. Incidentally, for unashamed pop music, this is the best bass player since McCartney.
4/10. Their hair cuts were bad.

By this stage of his career, Freddy was plumbing unknowable shallows. 3/10

If you're going to be shallow, you should at least pretend to be profound about it.

For some reason, every time I hear The Tubes I think of the outro of a fictional Corey Feldman film. Yes, it's the outro, and the film is not real, but I still have Corey Feldman in my head. Thus, 4/10.

One of my favourite Neil Young songs, below Old Man, Cowgirl in the Sand, and Heart of Gold, but still up there. (8.5/10)

Edit: Nugent gets a 7/10 haha

Wow. I mean, ... wow. Like a car crash: you cannot look away. At 1:40, he sets human culture back at least 20 years.

Not bad, a little derivative maybe. 6.5/10

(That Corey Feldman video was something else. I didn't make it all the way though, but I can't say I wasn't entertained!)

Given a choice between this and Corey Feldman, I'd take Corey every time. 0/10. Sorry Nightshade, but I have to act on my conscience.
