    big brother in our lives

    Who do you think is Big Brother in your personal life? Why?

    Apart from the obvious political regimes in history, which are the closest thing
    to Big Brother and therefore the short answer to this question.

    In my opinion aspects of "the party" represent any organisation, club or workplace.
    The way those in power retain it, and deal with threats.

    I think when people refer to ID cards, DNA databases and CCTV they are missing
    the point. To me, the technology wasn't important, but the ideology and behaviour.

    The freedom of information exchange due solely to the internet has created a world where the premise is impossible, no matter how much one is watched.
